Full time positions can earn up to $45k per year or more if transcribe own work.
- Work as Independent Contractor (take the assignments that you want, deduct all expenses)
- Assignments throughout Dade, Broward County, and Palm Beach
Competencies and Requirements:
- Professional appearance is a must
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Reads legal and medical journals, legal documents; writes complex transcripts; prepares reports.
- Requires the accurate use of the English language, grammar, punctuation and spelling.
- Typing Speed: 60 wpm
- Must have own laptop
- Must have own car
- Must have own cell phone
- Must have high-speed Internet Access
- Assignments throughout Dade and Broward County
- Will be trained on our court reporting systems (non-stenos)
- Stenos must have own equipment or laptop
Education Requirements:
Minimum degree: Associate of Arts (AA), certifications in legal studies, or professional experience in legal industry
Background Experience Requirements:
Steno,
Digital Court Reporters
Transcriptionists,
Legal sectary and Students
Paralegal and Students
Criminal Justice background,
Law students,
Pay is based on length of time of assignments that include: Meetings, depositions, and hearings
